Today's Blessing

Behind our home I heard a cow mooing for hours, so mournfully, I thought her head was stuck in a fence. Finally I couldn’t stand it anymore and hoped in my car and drove to the farmer’s home. “A cow is bawling”, I said, “like she’s dying”. The farmer replied, “She’s calling for her calf, we separated them today”. Sounds like us on the first day of daycare, kindergarden... a mama's heart.
