Today's Blessing

Wine is a mocker and strong drink is raging and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise... interesting verse for the 20th century. No one ever decided, “Today, I will become an alcoholic”. Alcoholism, as with any other habit, starts with one... “I can handle one.” In James it says: sometimes we refrain from certain behaviour, even acceptable behaviour, so we do not cause a stumbling block to someone else. Something to consider. To ponder. May we allow God’s voice to become our guide in every situation. Everyday. In every way.
