Dear Mom,
I was visiting with a close friend one day and poured my heart out to her. Day-to-day mothering was getting the best of me. “I just won’t make it” I cried, “everything is going wrong”. She replied, “you will make it. Do you see mothers dropping dead everywhere?” Startled at her abrupt answer, I quietly replied “no”. She smiled calmly and comforted me with these words, “mothers make it and you will too”. She was right … I did.
