Dear Mom,
During a fierce fire storm in Fort McMurray, Canada, I listened to a young man’s story, as he watched everything he owned go up in flames. “I felt like Job,” he said. “Who, like me, lost everything, and amidst my devastation, I heard God whisper, “Will you still trust Me?” With a heart soft towards his Heavenly Father, he responded, “Yes Lord, I will still trust you.” May we always do the same.
Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times…pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). (Psalm 62:8, AB)
