Dear Mom,
We all have had conversations and said things we wished we could take back. The Psalmist in the Bible must have said a few random things himself as He asks God to help him keep his mouth shut! Every now and then that is the godliest thing we can do, refrain from speaking. Sweet mom, I can’t tell you how important it is to watch what you say, your spouse and your children remember your words. May God help us to keep the door of our lips and never be irresponsible in our word delivery.
Set a watch, oh Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. Psalm 141:3
