Dear Mom,
Wisdom comes from following God’s pattern for living, having plenty of common sense and doing what is right. Your actions and reactions have an affect on your home’s thermometer. When I was in my intense mothering years, and perhaps feeling a bit discouraged, I would ask myself, “Am I doing better than this time last year”? If my answer was “yes,” then I just kept plugging along; however, if I answered “no,” then I knew I needed to change something. Ask God for help dear sweet Mom, whatever your age and stage in parenting, because, everything matters and everyday matters too.
But I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. (Philippians 3:13, NLT)
