Our Perfect Father
Since today is Father’s Day, it is fitting to say – I have such a good earthly father. He’s so kind, loving and generous, he’s just plain wonderful – I’m so blessed to be the daughter of such a good man and an exceptionally great Dad.

Sadly, not everyone has a good father. I know today brings bad memories for some. Several years ago, Hallmark cards went into prisons and made Father’s Day cards available for the inmates. It was an unsuccessful venture; there just wasn’t enough good Dads.
Thankfully, there is a remedy for a father-hurting heart. “Our Perfect Father” the Creator of the universe – the one and only true God, our Heavenly Father – heals wounded hearts.
He’s perfect.
There is a song being sung in churches right now called “Good Good Father”. I wonder if you’ve heard it? If not, click on the link above.
The song talks about His tender whispers in the dead of night when your heart hurts …
The song goes on to say “You are perfect in all of your ways”.
Perfect in all of His ways.
That means all our unanswered, confusing situations – God knows all about them. Cares about them. Will one day make everything right.
On this Father’s Day – trust in God.
He’s “Our Perfect Father”.
“For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”. Hebrews 13:5
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”. John 3:16
Today’s Prayer:
“Today I leave all my situations in your hands. I rest in Your goodness. I know one day, when we chat face-to-face, you’ll answer all my questions. Actually then, I doubt I will have any, once I see You all will be well – You are our perfect Father”.
