GOD’S WILL

God’s will is not complicated.

If you sense a green light from the spirit of God within you, meaning, you have prayed about the situation at hand and do not see any red flags; then there is a good possibility you are exactly where God wants you.

I heard a good quote: “Just do what you’re doing right now unless God changes your path”.

Good word.

Haven’t we often complicated things by worrying about next year’s step, when God asks us just to take the “next step”.

Oswald Chambers explains God’s will this way:

“When you walk with God daily, following as best you can – then you are not only in God’s will, you are God’s will”.

Why is it that we doubt our way?

If you notice in the Shepherd’s Psalm, Psalm 23 – not only are there green pastures and still waters – there are valleys – actually death valleys – however, the Psalmist still follows the Shepherd. He leads with His presence and comfort – even in the midst of adversity.

Rough terrain doesn’t mean we’ve strayed from God’s path. It just means that “life has happened while we were living”.

If life has thrown you a curve, by God’s grace you can make it through, for “surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever”.

“The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.
I will advise you and watch over you”. Psalm 32:8

Today’s Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, please lead me as you say, and guide my steps. May I ever trust you more and more. You said that if I acknowledged you in all my ways that you would direct my path. Please walk before me today. Show me the way. (Proverbs 3:6)
