God Is For You

Has satan ever tricked you into doing something you know you shouldn’t?

Of course he has – he’s the biggest scammer ever. His ultimate trick; fooling Adam and Eve into thinking they could become as wise as God.

Our accuser is always accusing. If there a voice in your head that keeps bringing up the past? Keep’s condemning you for this and that?

Yup, that’s the accuser.

Interestingly, this is the explanation of “accuser” when I googled it.

Satan is styled the “accuser of the brethren” (Rev. 12:10), as seeking to uphold his influence among men by bringing false charges against Christians, with the view of weakening their influence and injuring the cause with which they are identified.

False charges … “lies”.

Weakening their influence … “no one is watching, do what you want”.

Injuring the cause with which they are identified … “don’t say anything, you’re such a hypocrite”.

Dear reader, we are on to him.

His time is short and he knows it. Jesus is coming back again soon, so he unleashes his all-out-assaults on God’s own.

I’ve lived long enough to know, he watches where you’re weak and assaults you there. He doesn’t have any new tricks.

His ultimate goal is to steal our faith in God.

If he can make us believe that God has forsaken us, doesn’t hear us and somehow doesn’t care about us. then he’s got us. He wants our faith in God to be non-existent.

May I encourage you today … GOD IS FOR YOU not against you. Yes, some of our situations are perplexing and hard to understand but God is with us. The Creator of the universe stands ready to defend us, comfort us, lead us, guide us – and one-day dear reader, it won’t matter what we went through, what our problems were during our life’s journey … when we are with Jesus, all will be well.

We will have finally overcome.

For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”. Hebrews 13:5

 Today’s Prayer:

“Dear Heavenly Father, I would ask that you give me that uneasy feeling when I am about to be hoodwinked by the enemy. You have defeated him! I am yours and you are mine. I will trust you Lord, to lead me safely Home one day … You have come that I might have life, and have it to the full. Thank you for your promise”. (John 10:10)
