Dear Mom,
We just don’t like it when our kids complain about making their beds, or emptying the garbage or some other chore you ask them to do. Did you know the Bible says to do everything without complaining? It actually says that… and maybe we should do it ourselves! God’s word is so practical; even down to doing things without grumbling. What a great principle for ourselves and to teach to our children.
Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. (Philippians 2:14,15, NLT)
